Create a profile, browse matrimonial profiles from Pakistan and worldwide, send interests to members you like, and message them once they accept. Everything happens on-platform until you both choose to share contact details.

No. We are a self-service platform for families to connect directly. We don't pick partners for you, arrange meetings, or take a commission. You search, you decide.

Yes. We have members from Pakistan, the USA, UK, Canada, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and 50+ other countries. Anyone can register regardless of location.

Click Register in the header, enter your name, email, and password. You'll be asked to verify your email, then walked through a short profile wizard (basics, location, lifestyle, family) and an optional photo step. After that your profile goes to admin review.

Usually within a business day. The review checks for fake details, duplicate accounts, and obvious policy violations. You'll get a notification on the dashboard the moment it's approved or rejected.

Common reasons: contact details in About Me, suspected duplicate of another account, or required fields filled with placeholder text. Open Edit Profile, address the issue, and re-submit. The profile will go back to the moderation queue automatically.

Verified members have passed at least one extra check beyond email (phone, government ID, or photo verification). The badge appears on their card and profile so families know they're real.

Go to Account Info → Manage Verifications. You can verify your phone number (free, OTP), government ID (free, takes 1-3 days), or photo (free, takes a day). Each check that passes adds a tick on your trust panel.

Yes. On the create-profile step, set Profile created for to "Parent", "Sibling", "Cousin", "Friend", or "Relative". The profile clearly indicates who's actually represented, which is helpful for families running searches on behalf of someone.

Family background matters in rishta-finding. Members and families filtering by community, religious practice, or family values use these fields. Profiles with family details get more interest than those without.

Yes. QuickRishta works on any smartphone or tablet through your browser. There's no app to install.

Yes. Go to Edit Profile from the header at any time. Personal details, partner expectations, family info, lifestyle, and photos can all be changed.

Most edits are live the moment you save (location, height, lifestyle, partner preferences). A small set of sensitive fields (display name, About Me, religion, marital status, education, occupation, caste, sect, ethnicity, language) go to admin review first. Your live profile keeps showing the previously-approved values until the new ones are approved.

A short, honest paragraph about who you are, your values, your work, and what life looks like for you. Please do not include phone numbers, email addresses, WhatsApp, or social-media handles here. Contact details belong on the Contact Info page where they're only revealed after an interest is accepted.

Yes. On the profile editor, click Auto-draft and we'll write About Me + Partner Expectations based on what you've already filled in. Free members get 1 lifetime use, paid plans get 20. You can always edit the draft before saving.

JPG, PNG, or WebP, up to 5 MB each. After upload you'll be asked to crop the image to a 1:1 square. We also generate a 320×320 thumbnail automatically for cards and lists.

Common reasons: group photos, sunglasses or face filters that hide the face, screenshots from social media, photos of someone other than the profile owner, blurry shots. Upload a clear single-person photo in good lighting and it'll usually be approved within a day.

Usually within a business day. While the photo is pending, your card shows a "Pending review" indicator only to you. Once approved, it goes live across the site.

Private photos are visible only to members you explicitly grant access to. On a profile with private photos, viewers see a "Request to view photos" button. You can approve or decline each request from Photo View Requests in your settings.

Yes. Go to Intro Video under the profile tabs. The video must be 30 seconds or less and under 20 MB. Videos are reviewed by admin before going live, same as photos.

The "Finish your profile" panel on your dashboard shows exactly which sections are missing. Complete profiles get up to 5× more responses, and you can't send interests or messages until at least 80% complete.

Yes. Go to Settings → Hide Profile. While hidden, your profile won't appear in search, matches, or directories, and you can't send new interests or messages. Unhide any time to come back.

You turned on Hide real name in Privacy Settings. Other members see your profile ID instead of your display name. Owner view is unaffected; you always see your own real name. Turn it off in Privacy Settings to switch back.

Use Search in the header to filter profiles by gender, age, country, city, religion, sect, caste, profession, education, body type, complexion, and lifestyle. Save your favourite filter sets to Saved Searches so you can re-run them later in one click.

The compatibility score on each match card combines age proximity, same-city/country, religion, sect, caste, mother tongue, education, family values, lifestyle alignment, profile completeness, verification, and recent activity. Each card shows the strongest reason as a chip so you can see why we recommended it.

Three common causes: (1) your partner expectations are too narrow; widen the age, height, or country range; (2) your profile is under 80% complete, which hides you from many searches; (3) the city you set has few active members. Filling Family Details and Partner Expectations both unlock more matches.

On any profile, click Send Interest. You can attach a short note (optional, max 255 characters) so the receiver sees why you're reaching out. They get notified instantly and can accept, reject, or leave it pending.

An interest is a one-time "I'd like to connect" signal, like a handshake. A message is a real chat. You can only message someone after they accept your interest. This keeps inboxes clean and signals genuine intent.

Yes. Open Interests Sent, find the row, and click Remove. The interest is deleted and you can send a fresh one later if you change your mind.

Daily limits depend on your plan. The Today's Limits panel on your dashboard always shows your remaining quota for the day. Quotas reset at midnight.

Click the heart icon on any profile to shortlist them. From My Shortlist, sort them into four buckets: Shortlisted, Top Priority, Family Review, and Maybe Later. The shortlist is private to you; the other member isn't notified.

Yes, under Interests → Who shortlisted me. The page lists members who've added you to their shortlist.

A saved search stores a set of filters under a label you choose. From the Search page, pick one from the "Run a saved search" dropdown and you'll land on the matching profiles instantly, no re-typing.

Contact details (phone, email, social handles) are only revealed after a member accepts your interest. Until then they're hidden on every page, including their own profile. This protects everyone's privacy.

Messages older than 30 days are automatically removed to keep the inbox fast. If you need to keep something important, save it elsewhere. The auto-cleanup applies to both regular messages and helpdesk support threads.

The button is locked when your profile is under review, hidden, suspended, or under 80% complete. Hover the button for the exact reason. Finish the missing items on your dashboard's "Finish your profile" panel to unlock it.

Every profile goes through email verification and manual admin review before becoming visible. Members can also opt into phone, ID, and photo verification for extra trust. The trust panel on each profile shows which checks have been passed.

No. Your email, phone number, social handles, and family contact details are never shown to other members until you accept their interest. Even your full name is optional, you can hide it and show only your profile ID.

Yes. Mark any photo as Private in Manage Photos. Private photos are visible only to members you approve. They request access through the "Request to view photos" button on your profile.

Block is for you, the blocked member can't see your profile, send you interests, or message you, and you don't see them either. Report alerts our moderation team to a policy violation (fake profile, abuse, scam) so we can investigate and take action across the platform.

The report enters our moderation queue with the profile context attached. Our team reviews reports within 7 to 14 days. Confirmed violations result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal depending on severity. Reports are anonymous; the reported member never sees your name.

Yes. In Privacy Settings, turn on Hide real name. Other members see "QR-{your id}" instead of your display name. Your name reappears to anyone whose interest you've accepted.

Yes. In Privacy Settings, uncheck Show last-active info. Other members will no longer see "Last seen from {Country}, X ago" on your profile.

Set Profile visibility to "Registered members only" in Privacy Settings. Guests and search engines won't be able to view your profile, only signed-in members will.

Yes. Open Email Preferences to control which emails reach you. Categories include new messages, new interests, photo requests, weekly digest, promotions, and system announcements. Security and password emails always send regardless.

Go to Settings → Delete Profile. We wipe your personal content (About Me, contact details, family info, photos) and anonymize your record. The profile URL keeps resolving to a "this member has left" page so it doesn't 404 in someone's bookmarks. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Only the public, approved version with no private fields. Your contact info, phone, email, family contact, and private photos are never indexed. If you set Profile visibility to "Registered members only", search engines are blocked from indexing your profile entirely.

Registration and profile creation are free for everyone. Browsing, basic messaging, sending interests, and shortlisting are also free. Premium features such as enhanced visibility, higher daily quotas, profile boost, and unlimited auto-draft writing help are available through paid plans. Pricing is transparent with no hidden charges. See Plans for the current tiers.

Full profile creation, photo upload, browsing, search and filters, sending and receiving interests, messaging accepted matches, shortlist, partner expectations, and saved searches. Daily quotas are lower than paid plans, and the auto-draft writing helper is limited to one lifetime use.

Higher daily interest and message quotas, search-result boost, profile highlighting, up to 20 auto-drafted About Me regenerations, the ability to view "Who viewed me" in full, and priority support response. See the Plans page for the exact feature breakdown per tier.

A Boost moves your profile to the top of search results and directory pages for a fixed time window. You can run a Boost from Boost Profile in your dashboard. Boosts stack with plan-level highlighting.

Automated billing is being rolled out. For now, upgrades are processed manually, click Contact to upgrade on the Plans page and our team will activate your plan within 24 hours.

Not yet. Each plan is a one-time activation for the duration you purchase. You'll get an email a few days before it expires so you can choose to renew.

Since plans don't auto-renew, there's nothing to cancel. The plan expires on its own at the end of the billed period. If you want to stop using QuickRishta entirely, use Hide Profile or Delete Profile in Settings.

If your plan has been active for less than 7 days and you haven't used a paid feature heavily, contact support through the helpdesk and we'll review your case. Refunds are reviewed individually and aren't guaranteed.

Yes. Upgrading mid-cycle takes effect immediately and the remaining duration of your previous plan is converted into proportional time on the new one. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current plan.
